Living in a place with all the seasons, this is beautiful! I so cherish summer and fall, partly with how short they are. Fall is amazing in Northern MI! And winters.... they're pretty and long 😒
Reading these, I felt that the seasons were not describing the world but the movements of the heart. Three lines are enough when each word knows how to make room for silence. Thank you for reminding me that brevity can still hold an entire landscape.
Very beautiful, Kim!
Lovely, Kim. I recently had the thought about aging - how it might be nice to be able to switch our fall with spring.
What a lovely thought. Let's do it.
Love how these haikus set a mood with just a handful of words. I can’t wait to see them in your novel. Wishing you a day full of small poems, Kim.
Thanks, Sunshine! I think they are nicely complementary to the content of the chapters.

Hey! Thanks for dropping in. I'm glad they resonated with you.

That is one thing I like about haikus—brevity that leaves room for breath.
Love them! Beautiful work as always 👏♥️
Thank you, Virginia.
You’re welcome ☺️
